Silent Disco at Upės Festival: Mesijus x Münpauzn, Gemayel and Valdagger

On 25 July, as part of Vilnius’ Upės Festival, the Vilnius Night Office invites you to Elektriniai šokiai (Electric Dances)– a silent disco party on the rooftop terrace of the Energy and Technology Museum. With wireless headphones, panoramic views of the River Neris and the summer night skyline, it will be a unique opportunity to dance in the heart of the city without disturbing the surrounding neighbourhood.

Headlining the evening is the legendary duo Mesijus x Münpauzn, who recently returned with their album #uzgrotu, now also released on vinyl. More than a decade after its original release, the album remains as relevant and sharp as ever.

The night will open with Vilnius-based electronic music artist Gemayel, a familiar face at Gallery 1986 and known for her energetic and unpredictable DJ sets. Closing the evening is Valdagger, resident DJ at Elastica, whose performances have earned her a loyal following among Vilnius’ club culture enthusiasts.

Throughout the event, visitors will be able to enjoy special refreshments provided by Vilniaus vandenys, while those looking for a break from the dancefloor can unwind in a dedicated chill-out area presented by Gijos.

Doors open at 21:00, with the programme starting at 22:00. Admission is free. Capacity on the rooftop terrace is limited, so visitors are encouraged to arrive early.

“Vilnius is known not only for its Old Town but also for its vibrant music and nightlife culture. At Elektriniai šokiai, the iconic duo Mesijus x Münpauzn will share the programme with club scene favourites Gemayel and Valdagger. All of this will take place on one of the city’s most spectacular rooftop terraces, overlooking the nighttime panorama of Vilnius. It’s hard to imagine a better setting for a summer evening,” says Laura Vaišnorė, Head of the Vilnius Night Office.

The same evening, the area around Mindaugas Bridge will host even more Upės Festival events, from live concerts at Muzikos denis (Music Deck) to blues dancing at Kitas Krantas (The Other Shore), with Elektriniai šokiai on the museum rooftop serving as the evening’s grand finale.
