More Knowledge, Safety & Care for the Nightlife Community

For the second consecutive year, the Vilnius Night Office organised a comprehensive training programme aimed at improving safety in the city’s nightlife and strengthening the skills of professionals working within the night-time economy. In 2025, a total of 13 training sessions were delivered, attracting 254 participants. Attendees included staff from more than 43 nightlife venues, technical crews, DJs, and other professionals who contribute to Vilnius’ vibrant and diverse nightlife ecosystem.

The training programme focused on real-life situations and challenges commonly encountered in nightlife settings. Topics included psychoactive substance use prevention and harm reduction, first aid, sexual violence prevention, and mental wellbeing for night-time workers. Participants not only expanded their theoretical knowledge but also exchanged experiences, engaged in discussions, took part in practical simulations, and developed skills for identifying and responding to risk situations in a responsible and professional manner.

Beyond knowledge-sharing, the training sessions provided a safe and supportive environment that encouraged open dialogue, community building, and mutual trust. Participants were able to openly discuss challenges, identify common issues, and work together to find practical solutions.

The Vilnius Night Office will continue to support the nightlife community through training, learning, and collaboration, helping create a city where the night is not only vibrant, but also safe and welcoming for everyone.
