I INVITE YOU TO A THEATRE TRAINING on September 14 at 7 pm in the Kostmos space located in Vilnius Old Town!

You ask – "What is theater training? After all, theater and sports are opposites!"„
I answer - it's a new sport that combines theater acting, improvisation, and stage movement, so you'll have to sweat during it (and you'll definitely need sportswear)!
These trainings will include:
• strengthens creative muscles
• movable courage weights
• shaken improvisational skills
• throwing words and ideas around
• surprises are caught
• increased confidence in oneself and others
Again you ask – „what does it mean to me?“ I answer – oh, very much!
• you will discover freedom in everyday situations, which will help you achieve your goals faster
• you will satisfy your theater worm
• you will experience the joy of play that will brighten even the gloomiest day
• you will develop your imagination, emotional intelligence and reveal your creativity
• you will calm your inner critic and get to know your strengths and weaknesses.
By the way, the COACH is a professional theater and film actor Povilas Adomaitis, whose roles can be seen on the stages of the Alytus City Theater, the State Vilnius Small Theater, and the hand-shadow theater "Budrugana Lietuva". He is also an improviser, event host, poetry reader, and educator, leading stage movement, improvisation, and creativity promotion classes for people of all ages.
After the first training session, training sessions are scheduled every Monday, but without any obligation to attend regularly.

KOSTMOSAS Subculture House is a truly alternative cultural space where differences are not meant to divide, but to inspire curiosity and discovery. Dedicated to subcultural expression and DIY ethics rather than commercial success, the venue places creativity, individuality, and artistic freedom above profit. It serves as an alternative cultural boutique where artists working across visual art and sound can both create and present their work. At KOSTMOSAS, nightlife is understood not simply as entertainment, but as a platform for alternative culture, community building, and self-expression. The program focuses on non-mainstream genres, giving equal space to established artists and emerging creators. Rather than seeking mass appeal, the venue aims to reach its community through authenticity, direct engagement, and word-of-mouth communication rooted in DIY culture. Reflecting this philosophy, the venue has no prominent exterior signage. One of the project's core goals is to restore the primacy of artistic content over consumption. Another is to build a community that can help revive and cultivate similar non-commercial cultural initiatives throughout Lithuania's regions.
