Bartoš Eiliakas presents his fourth studio album “Threshold” and invites you to the album presentation concert on March 21st at the Smoke Factory in Vilnius.
About Bartoš Eiliakas' new album "Threshold":
Bartoš Eiliakas' new album Threshold, born from the gifts of darkness, connects darkness with light, and voices the changes in nature during the seasons and what humans experience together with nature. The album tells the story of man as a creator – a messenger, capable of looking into the darkness and making the invisible visible, freely moving back and forth across thresholds – from darkness to light, from earth to sky, from the depths of space to the dinner table.
“And between all these opposite sides there is a middle – an invisible threshold, which when crossed, you reach the other side. A threshold through which the creator reaches out into the unknown and brings the invisible to the visible.” – Bartoš Eiliakas shares his creative process.
In the album, electronic musical instruments combine with acoustic ones, lutes and drums awaken forgotten but still alive in the blood memories of ancestors and the old faith in nature, the soft sounds of keys and violins remind us of the distant longing that we rarely, but sometimes feel when we look at the sky and the stars. This album combines what lies underground and what is seen far away in the vastness of the night sky.
About the concert:
The changes will also be reflected in the concert format - the audience will be invited to move around the stage with the musicians, or enjoy the whirlwind of music while sitting in the stands. Also, Bartoš Eiliakas will be joined on stage not only by Kostas Tumosa (violin), Tomas Petrikis (viola), but also Šarūnas Venckus (percussion).

Bartos Eiliaks
Electroacoustic music creator, performer, multi-instrumentalist. In his music, Bartoš combines the sounds of classical (piano, strings), electronic (synthesizers) and traditional-shamanic (gongs, ronroco, flutes, drums and others) instruments, creating an authentic, cinematic musical landscape that takes the listener to the world of dreams, fantasies and visions. The creator's musical journey began with his family - he grew up in the family of Lithuanian gong masters Alicia and Ričardas Eiliakai. The unique environment, instruments and the surrounding rich variety of music formed an authentic musical feeling and the ability to combine archaic sounds with classical and modern sounds.
