On March 3, Vilnius Night Office project managers Emilija Gaidytė and Gabija Liaugminaitė presented the Office’s activities and services to members of the Lithuanian Conference and Events Association. During the meeting, we introduced Vilnius dainyklos and highlighted their importance in shaping the city’s identity, while also discussing potential forms of collaboration. We also presented noise management practices and safety initiatives that could be applied to events and conferences.
A significant part of the discussion focused on event safety: we talked about the most common risks, best practices in harm prevention and reduction, and introduced our initiatives and tools — “In Vilnius We,” training sessions, partnerships, and other solutions that help create a safer nighttime environment in the city.
The meeting was highly valuable and successful: we established meaningful contacts and presented our activities to a target audience actively interested in safe events and different forms of collaboration with the city. We thank all participants for their engagement, questions, and open discussion.
