„"AKTU" is an alternative rock band from Vilnius, creating between different sounds and constantly searching for their own voice. In their music, not only the sound is important, but also the state that remains long after the last piece.
The debut EP "Dūmija", released in early 2024, marked the first more prominent stage of the band, and the trilogy of singles released last fall became a kind of bridge between the first works and the new sound. Now this stage is fully unfolding - "AKTU" presents its debut album.
This will be the third time that AKTU will be on the stage at Estrãda. We've had them in the Upcoming Names series and in the acoustic Unplugged format. It's always great to meet returning musicians.
A new stage for the band is more than just the presentation of new work. It is a moment when everything comes together in one point: noise and silence, tension and release, what has been building up in rehearsal rooms for a long time and finally finds a place on stage. The album "I Give Everything" speaks of a boundary that, once crossed, leaves no fear, but only the desire to give everything that is real.
