About the event
“Latvian Type Beat Vol.1” is the first edition of a nomadic party series that introduces the young and untamed of latvian music scene to other-than-latvian listeners and dancers.
“Alejas” (LV) is a trio that drifts between pop music, electronica, hip-hop, and the freedom of the experimental scene. The group consists of Kirils Ēcis, Spāre Vītola, and Reinis Žodžiks – all of whom are also active in other art forms, which is evident in the band’s focused approach to video and visual aesthetics, as well as in other projects the trio is involved in – theater, contemporary art, and poetry.
“Raivo” (LV) is a new-generation media artist, musician, and DJ from Latvia, currently based in Vilnius. He’s a resident and crew member at Radio Vilnius. His sound is rooted in ’90s deep and garage house, with influences from Detroit techno. Raw, sample-based production and straightforward drum machine grooves define his musical approach.
Ani weaves her background in design into sound, embracing contrasts in both her creative and musical paths – tenderness and intensity, familiarity and surprise. Drawing from gabber, reggaeton, hyperpop, and bass-heavy club sounds, she builds dynamic sets that invite listeners on a playful journey through modern sound.
Marta Ansone aka “ofae“ (LV) is a musician and composer who creates intimately expressive experimental pop music, combining the softness of her voice and the traditional instrument kokle with emotionally charged synths and aggressive drums, sometimes leading to a cathartic, apocalyptic release.

The café-bar "Estafetė" established in the cultural complex "SODAS 2123" brings together the local community, and the variety of the event program connects different audiences of cultural events in Vilnius. The informal and community-based space operates on weekdays as a space for working meetings, spontaneous conversations or relaxation, and also houses the reading room of the Lithuanian Interdisciplinary Art Union. The "Sumaniai valgo" team prepares healthy and balanced lunches here. In the evenings, "Estafetė" transforms into a space for music experiments, performances, workshops, cinema or parties. The café is open not only for events of "SODAS 2123" residents - various proposals and initiatives that are close to the principles of community are welcome.
