On August 19th at 8:00 PM, an evening of unique guitar music awaits you at the City Laboratory. There will be two performances: Kalle Tikas from Estonia and Algis Fediajevas.

Kalle Tikas is an Estonian guitarist with an original sound, mixing blues, avant-garde and dark country elements. Known as a member of the duo Ringhold, Kalle has also been active as a solo artist for many years. Having started his musical odyssey in the 90s in various blues and progressive rock bands, he later entered the free improvisation scene and also composed music for theater. In 2015, together with experimental music vocalist Eleonora Kampe, they created Ringhold, a band that also influenced Kalle's solo work.

Algis Fediajevas. A shaman of acoustic psychedelics with a unique sound, treading untrodden paths with his work based on acoustic guitar and voice dialogues. In his music we hear both light meditative, sometimes folk, sometimes oriental echoes, and noisy discharge. Experimenting with both the form of the song (it does not shy away from instrumental improvisations) and the possibilities of the acoustic guitar (we hear unusual resonances obtained only with the hands), Algis has released four solo albums and has toured in many European countries. He is currently working on a new album.
