About Event
In our ensemble, Rézeleje Fanfárosok, we’ve been playing since 2020, focusing primarily on Moldovan, Hungarian, and Balkan folk dance music. Everywhere we perform, we strive to evoke the very essence of folk melodies thriving in their original environment today, reimagined through modern instruments and the vibrant resonance of a brass band.
This has been evidenced during the relatively short existence of our band, as seen through our participation in numerous festivals (such as O.Z.O.R.A, Fishing on Orfű, Dombosfest),
engagements in dance halls, and performances at weddings in and around Hungary, where our music has consistently inspired esteemed audiences to dance. Our repertoire is based on traditional collections, modern tunes rooted in folk music, and our original compositions,
applied to a unique instrumentation. We perform full-length dance events, concerts, and provide mood-setting music for various occasions. Thanks to our instrumentation, our band can perform acoustically and is suitable for musical procession.

“Friends' Names” is an art and music space founded and curated in Vilnius by contemporary artists Antanas Gerlikas and Kotryna Butautytė. Established at the end of 2022, the space has already gathered a large community around itself, the basis of which is made up of creators and lovers of professional art and high-quality contemporary music. Since its inception, the “Friends' Names” space has occupied a unique place in Vilnius. The interior of the space is designed and created by the artists and curators of the space, Antanas Gerlikas and Kotryna Butautytė, constantly updating it and including and nurturing the initiatives of other artists and creators. One of these is the perfume showcase curated by artist Elena Narbutaitė. - In collaboration with acoustic engineer Vytautas Budzejs and Rolandas Mažulis, an acoustic system was created specifically for this space. This system guarantees one of the highest acoustic sound qualities in Vilnius. It is the only artist-run space in Vilnius offering a hybrid cultural program that includes presentations by contemporary visual artists, performances by contemporary experimental music artists, and performances by sound artists.
