VERANDA – the embassy of bohemian Žvėrynas, where cuisine, wine, live jazz, and relaxation come together in one space.
Where a glass of wine is not an accessory, but like another part of an instrument. Food here brings people together - at the table, at a long-forgotten story. Naturalness, freshness, culinary improvisation - we serve all this every day.
For 20 years, we have been welcoming everyone who misses jazz in their lives or lives to the rhythm of jazz in Žvėrynas.

JAZZ DUO

Edgar Sabilo – piano
Manvydas Pratkelis – saxophone

Edgar Sabilo is a professional jazz pianist who has been playing for 19 years. Edgar began studying music at the Balis Dvarionas Music School. He continued his studies at the Lithuanian Academy of Music and Theatre, gaining experience in various international internships, including in the Netherlands, at the Groningen Academy of Music.
The pianist collaborates with famous Lithuanian jazz musicians and participates in international projects.

Manvydas Pratkelis graduated from the Royal Conservatory of the Netherlands.
In 2010, with the duo “Dauleau” (Manvydas Pratkelis – saxophone, Jonas Butvydas – percussion) he won the Vilnius Jazz Young Power. Having performed with the big band of the Royal Hague Conservatory at the prestigious ”North Sea Jazz“ festival in Rotterdam in 2014, he also actively performs with his trio – ”Big Little Emotions trio“, which was formed in 2012 in the Netherlands. Manvydas, having delved into jazz traditions and perfectly orienting himself in the trends of contemporary jazz, is able to improvise in various musical styles and thus creates a unique, universal sound.
