Monika Neverauskaitė (Lithuania) | PREMIERE of the Black box version of „THE ONION TECHNIQUE“
Troupe/performer: Was Ist Das and Jörg Müller (Germany)
Name: Mobile
Duration: 20 minutes.
Who is it for: everyone
Description:
A poetic and hypnotic performance that balances juggling, movement and sound. Five long metal tubes float in space, becoming both partners and instruments in a delicate, ever-changing choreography.
In a constant dialogue with these objects, Jörg Müller sets them in motion – surrounding, colliding and resonating like a giant bell. Sometimes playful and light, sometimes intense and turbulent, the performance unfolds as a living composition of rhythm, movement and silence.
„"Mobile" is a timeless piece of contemporary circus, renowned for its simplicity, precision, and quiet beauty.

Title: The Onion Technique
Duration: ~35 minutes.

PREMIERE. The black box version is presented – one of the forms of the performance being created. The project is being further developed and will be adapted for various spaces and formats.
Description:
„The Onion Technique is a metaphorical problem-solving method used in psychology to understand personality. A person's self-disclosure occurs in stages, moving from superficial to more intimate layers, similar to peeling an onion.
The ever-spinning wheel of Cyrus, layer upon layer of clothes falling off and bodies hiding beneath them. What is freedom like when we shed all our masks? Desired, brave, and pleasant? Or frightening, undiscovered, and uncomfortable?
In this performance, Accompany ME seeks to metaphorically and visually convey the desire to free oneself, to get closer to one's true self, and, most importantly, to accept oneself with an open heart.
