Night-time Economy Strategies: A Cross-Regional Approach to Managing the Night-time Economy in the European Union.

About the project

The main objective of the NITIES project  is to improve policy instruments for the sustainable management of the night economy in European cities. The activities carried out within the project focus on introducing changes in urban and regional policies in the following areas:

Development of the night economy - integration of night activities with urban policy

Safety and transport – improving logistics and safety at night

Culture and entertainment – ​​supporting a dynamic and sustainable cultural scene

Urban space management – ​​minimizing the negative effects of night-time activities

The implementation of the project will contribute to the creation of coherent strategies for cities and regions, improving the quality of life of residents and supporting the development of the night economy based on social, economic, cultural and environmental pillars.
