On March 7, 2026, IUVENES Fest will take place for the first time at Dūmų fabrikas — a promising new festival dedicated to young music bands, emerging artists, and their audiences.
Although the festival’s name suggests a focus on youth, a much wider audience is invited to come, have fun, and discover great music.
“Are you asking whether the festival is only for young people? Absolutely not! We invite the young, the old, and everyone who wants to feel younger. ‘IUVENES Fest’ is a perfect way to stop aging, loosen up stiff bones, shake an immobile neck, and stretch your cheeks into a smile,” the festival organizers joke.
The festival lineup will feature artists already well known among younger audiences: the high-energy Kedrostuburas, the witty Egomašina, the melodic Bucktooth Tiger, the dynamic Ketera, and many others. The programme will also include numerous young bands that are only beginning their musical journey.
“There is a lack of festivals in Lithuania that actively include emerging bands. Young and ambitious voices are often pushed away from large-scale projects that are afraid to risk their image. ‘IUVENES Fest,’ on the contrary, is a space for such ideas to grow and find their audience. Festival visitors will not only enjoy music by artists they already like, but will also have the chance to discover new sounds, hear unfamiliar names, and support the creators of the future,” the organizers explain.
The festival will also feature a marketplace and entertainment area where visitors can relax between performances and support young creators, craftspeople, and makers by exploring their pop-up village of stalls and workshops.
Everyone is welcome: alternative music enthusiasts, bored teenagers, music lovers, curious minds, and the (not-so-)young crowd that hasn’t had a proper good time in a while. Everyone will find their place here, take part in fun activities, and experience a truly youthful and unforgettable adventure.
