About Egzotikka Live
Egzotikka Live is a coldwave trio formed in Vilnius, consisting of Kasparas Genys (electric guitar), Martynas Valys (synthesizer and electric guitar) and Osvaldas Egzotikka (bass guitar and vocals).
Expect ten tracks from the first EP "Masks", the latest tracks from the album "Lines", cold analog sound, post-punk tension and the melancholic aesthetics of Vilnius night.

I've tried to get Osvaldas to play in Vilnius many times before, so it's great that he came back last year and put together a local team. I think the sound he developed in London will bring new shades of gray to the local post-punk scene - more irony, sarcasm, and dirt.

I have been following the music releases of the post-punk/EBM/minimal wave/coldwave music label "META MOTO" for a long time, but the most tempting thing was not only to hear, but also to finally see Osvaldas Bertašius' project - Egzotikka. Their first debut at the "Sculpture and Stained Glass Art Center Festival" definitely lived up to expectations. The dark, guitar-driven sound on stage took on a completely different life, and together with the band members, Egzotikka sounded like a solid live post-punk machine. I was happy to see how the aesthetic worldview of "META MOTO" moves into a living organism and begins a new stage in the Lithuanian music scene.
