Muzikinė programa WEATHER REPORT. SILENCE OF A FALLING SNOW, atliekama dviem elektriniams pianinais, pinasi tarp sapniškos logikos ir kintančių garsovaizdžių, kuriuose suskamba naujos Ievos Raubytės ir Andriaus Šiurio kompozicijos, įkvėptos David’o Lynch’o atmosferos. Abu kūrėjai savaip tyrinėja kalbos, garso ir vaizdo transformacijas: Raubytė konstruoja daugiasluoksnę elektronikos, balsų ir kalbų sąveiką, o Šiurys pasineria į nuojautos, buitiškumo metamorfozių lauką. Siurrealistišką, miglotai mistišką erdvę papildo Justės Janulytės „Silence of a Falling Snow“, tarsi įrėminantis programos svyravimus tarp aiškumo ir nežinomybės.
Programą atliks pianistės Julija Bagdonavičiūtė ir Marta Finkelštein, jau antrą kartą inicijavusios bendrą kūrybinę erdvę – kurioje tyrinėja joms aktualias temas ir reiškinius, plėtojant nuoseklų kūrybinį dialogą, įvesdant jį į meninių tyrimų erdvę.

WEATHER REPORT. SILENCE OF A FALLING SNOW – new musical program that unveils between dreamlike logic and shifting soundscapes. The Lynchian atmosphere is felt in the new compositions by Ieva Raubytė and Andrius Šiurys. Both creators explore transformations of language, sound, and image in their own ways: Raubytė constructs a multilayered interplay of electronics, voices, and languages, while Šiurys delves into a field of intuition and metamorphoses. The surreal, misty, and subtly mystical space is complemented by Justė Janulytė’s Silence of a Falling Snow, which seems to frame the program’s oscillations between clarity and the unknown.
The program will be performed by pianists Julija Bagdonavičiūtė and Marta Finkelštein, who for the second time are initiating a shared creative space—one in which they explore themes and phenomena relevant to them, developing a continuous artistic dialogue and bringing it into the realm of artistic research.

Established at the end of 2022, the space has already gathered a large community around itself, the basis of which is made up of creators and lovers of professional art and high-quality contemporary music. Since its inception, the “Friends' Names” space has occupied a unique place in Vilnius. The interior of the space is designed and created by the artists and curators of the space, Antanas Gerlikas and Kotryna Butautytė, constantly updating it and including and nurturing the initiatives of other artists and creators. One of these is the perfume showcase curated by artist Elena Narbutaitė. - In collaboration with acoustic engineer Vytautas Budzejs and Rolandas Mažulis, an acoustic system was created specifically for this space. This system guarantees one of the highest acoustic sound qualities in Vilnius. It is the only artist-run space in Vilnius offering a hybrid cultural program that includes presentations by contemporary visual artists, performances by contemporary experimental music artists, and performances by sound artists.
