The Last 2 Brain Cells
„The Last 2 Brain Cells“ is a duo of two free improvisational musicians (guitarist Klaudija Indriliūnaitė and saxophonist, and electronic music performer/composer Matas Samulionis). The project explores states of free improvisation in an electro-acoustic context, using prepared guitar, effects circuits, modular synthesizers, saxophone and, most importantly, deep listening. Spontaneously arising ideas are developed without any prior framework in real time, so repeating the resulting sound is simply impossible.

Flute 3
„"Flutes 3" is a trio formed by flutists who actively create and perform contemporary and improvisational music on the stage: Salomėja Kalvelytė, Mėta Gabrielė Pelegrimaitė-Kaupinė and Kristupas Gikas. The ensemble consistently explores a wide range of sound expressions, creating unique sonorous effects that reveal the multi-layered and multi-directional sonic identity of seemingly homogeneous instruments. The trio's concert programs are distinguished by their stylistic diversity - they organically combine contemporary academic music with improvisations. In the performances of "Flutes 3", the usual timbre quality of the flute is transcended, it is transformed into complex sound junctions, and using a universal arsenal of modern playing techniques, the trio members create subtly modeled sound spaces in which the contemplative, ambient sound consistently changes into sharp timbre tensions - overtones, dissonances and expressive, sometimes even sharp breakthroughs, creating a dynamic and unexpected listening experience.
