\nJazz Cellar 11 invites you to a jazz evening dedicated to honoring one of the most prominent figures of the genre \u2013 Hank Mobley. \u201cSax Colossus\u201d is a concert series initiated by the club and its musicians, celebrating legendary jazz saxophonists. The term \u201csaxophone colossus\u201d originated with Sonny Rollins\u2019 album of the same name, which became a milestone in jazz history. The club has already hosted sold-out tributes to J. Coltrane, Cannonball Adderley, Sonny Rollins, and Dexter Gordon. This concert is a tribute to the life and music of the brilliant tenor saxophonist Hank Mobley.<\/p>\n
