Music and theatre performances staged within this industrial setting offer audiences a very different experience from that of a traditional concert hall or theatre. The project aims to create opportunities for emerging bands to reach wider audiences. On 22 November, the series will open with performances by\u00a0Mor\u0117sakys\u00a0and\u00a0Orai. Here, the industrial environment becomes a stage for discovering new and previously unheard sounds.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The Energy and Technology Museum is not only a concert venue but also a platform for contemporary performance. Every year,\u00a0MMLAB Erdv\u0117\u00a0presents unique productions in the museum. One of the most notable this year was the dance performance\u00a0\u201cSaliva\u201d, premiered in October. In 2025 alone, the venue hosted\u00a0182 concerts and DJ performances. The programme featured both well-known Lithuanian artists and international performers, including\u00a0Los Secretos de Pablo,\u00a0Baltasis Kiras,\u00a0\u010ceslovas Gabalis\u00a0and\u00a0Pelenai,\u00a0<em>The Voice of Lithuania<\/em>\u00a0winner\u00a0Anyanya Udongwo,\u00a0Mood Sellers, as well as international acts such as\u00a0Sherman\u2019s Trio,\u00a0Blue Fields,\u00a0James Warmsley Trio, and many others.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This autumn, the museum also hosted concerts as part of the\u00a0Music Autumn Festival (Muzikos ruduo), inviting audiences to explore changing meanings in music. The festival\u2019s theme,\u00a0\u201cChanging Meanings\u201d, was chosen to mark the 150th anniversary of the birth of\u00a0Mikalojus Konstantinas \u010ciurlionis, highlighting the power of synergy between music and visual art. K. \u010ciurlionis, the premiere of the light and movement performance\u00a0\u201cExperiencing the Creation of the World\u201d\u00a0took place on 23 October beneath the vaults of the Liepkalnis Water Reservoir. Inspired by \u010ciurlionis\u2019 painting cycle\u00a0<em>The Creation of the World<\/em>, director and creator\u00a0Greta Gudelyt\u0117\u00a0invites audiences to imagine how a human being might experience the fantastical process of the world coming into existence.
