The Vilnius Night Office works to create a city where culture, nightlife, good neighbourly relations, and quality of life can thrive together.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">We are looking for a new colleague to help mediate noise-related issues between nightlife venues and nearby residents, while working with public institutions and stakeholders to find effective solutions to nightlife-related challenges.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Key Responsibilities<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">1. Noise Management<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Analyse noise-related issues associated with nightlife in Vilnius.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Develop and implement noise prevention, monitoring, and management measures.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Prepare reports, recommendations, and policy proposals.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Research international best practices in noise management and adapt them to the Vilnius nightlife sector.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Coordinate and oversee noise management projects, competitions, and prevention measures.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Coordinate mediation processes.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Maintain and administer the city\u2019s noise management register.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Mediate and participate in resolving nightlife-related noise complaints.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Conduct site visits to nightlife venues when addressing disputes and other issues.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Advise public institutions, businesses, and communities on noise prevention and regulatory requirements.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">2. Sustainable Urban Development<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Initiate projects and measures related to noise prevention in urban planning and development.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Review planning documents from the perspective of noise management and sustainability, providing recommendations and expert input.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Collaborate with real estate developers and stakeholders from other sectors.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Participate in projects involving new developments, ensuring the integration of noise control measures and cultural infrastructure.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Maintain dialogue with event organisers, cultural sector representatives, and urban planning professionals.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Contribute to policy development related to the night-time economy and the use of public spaces.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">3.
