From May 29\u201331, \u201cVilnius Pink Soup Fest\u201d returns to the Lithuanian capital \u2014 one of Vilnius\u2019 brightest and most playful traditions. This year, the festival will last for three full days, bringing together concerts, a parade, sports initiatives, gastronomic experiences, and a record-breaking nightlife programme for both locals and visitors.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This year, as many as 46 bars, clubs, concert venues, and nightlife spaces are joining the special \u201cNighttime Vilnius\u201d programme. After the main events, festival-goers will be invited to continue the evening across different locations throughout the city.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

One of the weekend\u2019s highlights will be \u201cPink Hall\u201d (\u201cRo\u017ein\u0117 Hal\u0117\u201d) \u2014 a special pink-themed Friday night party at Hales Market, where more than eight Vilnius gastronomic vendors will present dishes and flavours inspired by the festival\u2019s iconic pink colour. Throughout the evening, the \u201cCold Beet Soup Market\u201d will transform into one of the city\u2019s most vibrant nightlife destinations, featuring music by DJ Edgaras Tafari and DJ Aleksandr Spicyn, a pink dress code, and free entry. Organisers describe the event as the first \u201cPink Night\u201d in the Baltic States.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

At the same time, bars, clubs, and restaurants across the city will offer special pink soup-inspired food and drink creations, non-alcoholic cocktails, themed games, parties, and other festival-inspired experiences extending the atmosphere late into the night.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The main festival events begin on May 29 with the official opening concert at Town Hall Square, while on May 30 visitors can enjoy a full-day programme near the White Bridge, followed by the festival\u2019s main evening concert<\/a>. The festival will also feature a colourful Pink Soup Parade<\/a> from Cathedral Square to the White Bridge, as well as the third annual Pink Waiters\u2019 Run<\/a> on Up\u0117s Street.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Additional activities will take over the city throughout the weekend. The \u201cPink Vilnius\u201d<\/a> initiative will encourage businesses and residents to decorate facades and contribute to the city\u2019s pink aesthetic. Visitors will also find competitions for the best pink soup costume<\/a>, the pink soup walking challenge<\/a>, a pink soup slide, a pink skatepark pool, and many other activities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

For the convenience of visitors, a free pink soup shuttle bus<\/a> will operate between Vilnius Railway Station and Konstitucijos Avenue throughout the festival weekend. Main public transport routes will also run more frequently, while visitors arriving by bicycle or scooter will be able to use dedicated micromobility parking zones.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Although \u201cVilnius Pink Soup Fest\u201d may appear playful and light-hearted at first glance, its significance for the city goes far beyond entertainment. It is not only an opportunity to gather together, laugh, and temporarily colour everyday life pink, but also a reminder that we live in a free city where we can celebrate our culture, create traditions, and take pride in what makes us unique.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The festival also generates significant economic value for Vilnius every year \u2014 visitor numbers rise sharply during the weekend, restaurants, bars, hotels, and leisure spaces fill up, and the city once again strengthens its image as a vibrant, creative, and open destination both in Lithuania and internationally.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
