To ensure better connectivity, they will run not only on weekends but also on public holidays\u2014the next service is scheduled for the night of May 1.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p>\u201cSpring and summer make Vilnius even more vibrant\u2014there are more events, evenings are longer, and people naturally stay out later. Night routes help ensure the city is accessible to everyone at any time of day, and we see that residents value this option. A transfer hub for night routes is already operating at the intersection of Pam\u0117nkalnio, Jogailos, and Pylimo streets. Night routes departing from the Islandijos stop are coordinated so passengers can easily transfer between all nine routes.<br><br>It is a convenient and environmentally friendly way to travel, offering greater flexibility to plan your time even at night. In addition, standard public transport fares apply on night buses, making night travel not only safe but also accessible to everyone,\u201d she says.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<p>Laura Vai\u0161nor\u0117, Head of the Vilnius Night Office, adds that night public transport helps the city remain open, modern, and lively 24\/7.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p>\u201cNight buses strengthen the nighttime economy\u2014bars, clubs, and cultural events can operate more actively and attract more visitors, and the fear of \u2018missing the last bus\u2019 disappears. This reduces the gap between the desire and the real ability to participate in nightlife, making art, concerts, and events more accessible to all. In 2025, an average of around 120,000 passengers used night services. A more noticeable increase in ridership is observed in summer and autumn, with the highest numbers recorded in August and peak travel in September\u2013October. On weekends, night buses carry an average of 2,600 passengers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The most popular routes among night travelers are: N1 Center\u2013Antakalnis\u2013Saul\u0117tekis, N3 Center\u2013\u017dirm\u016bnai\u2013Baltupiai\u2013Santari\u0161k\u0117s and N4 Center\u2013Kalvarij\u0173\u2013S. Stanevi\u010diaus St.\u2013Pa\u0161ilai\u010diai.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Night bus routes were updated on April 25, 2025. During the warm season, they operate as usual\u2014on Friday\u2013Saturday and Saturday\u2013Sunday nights, running every 30 minutes from midnight.
